FAQs
Here are the FAQs.
- We are not active but we are not broken up. Members live in different countries but when we have occasion to see each other we do a show (see above).
- We have merch (shirts, CDs, vinyl); if you are interested please write us an email at bodieslaybroken (a) yahoo (dt) com.
- The intros on the CD were intended to be cheesy and overly long, and we included them to be annoying. We didn't think they were cool or brutal, just dumb. Not to put down bands that use intros...just that most people seem not to have caught the joke.
- That said, we did not intend to have the monster gaps which showed up on the CD between songs. We intended for the album to be rapid fire (except for the, uh, overly long intros), but to squeeze more running time, our friend at the label put the gaps in. To his credit though, he did master the CD to make it a little better sounding. I don't think the gaps are there on the 12" version, because we pressed that using the original tracks from the recording studio...though I've never actually verified that since my record player has been broken since before the record was pressed...
- If you were into Bodies Lay Borken, please visit the Patisserie website for the continuing grindcore adventures of one of Borken's members. Patisserie is the guitarist's new band and sounds vaguely like a good version of BLB.
